Candidate Intake

Candidate Intake Funnel

Job-board-style applications, resume upload, knockout questions, and instant SMS confirmation — built so candidates apply in under 90 seconds and land in your pipeline fully tagged.

What this does

The Candidate Intake Funnel is the front door of your hiring snapshot. Candidates land on a branded application page (your colors, your logo, your job description), answer 5–8 questions, upload a resume, and hit submit. The system immediately:

  • Confirms by SMS and email (“we got it, here’s what happens next”)
  • Parses the resume for years of experience, location, role history
  • Runs knockout logic (e.g., “must have RN license in TX” — if they don’t, they go to a future-talent-bank flow, not the active pipeline)
  • Tags the candidate by role, source, location, and seniority
  • Assigns to the right recruiter using your round-robin or rules-based logic
  • Fires the next workflow (technical screen, scheduling, etc.)

Why this matters

Most agency application forms are too long, too generic, and too slow. Candidates abandon at 40%+. With a 90-second mobile-first form and instant confirmation, completion rate runs 75–85% in our test deployments.

The instant confirmation is the unsung hero. Candidates know — within 60 seconds — that you got their application and what happens next. That alone changes how they feel about your agency vs. the four others they applied to that day.

How it’s configured

Each role in your snapshot has its own intake funnel. Roles share a common scaffold (resume upload, contact info, work auth) and add role-specific knockouts and screening questions. You can clone a role to start a new one in seconds.

For SMS-first candidates (common in blue-collar and healthcare staffing), the entire intake can run inside an SMS thread — no portal, no app. Same data captured, same downstream automation.

What you’ll have on day 1

  • 1 branded intake funnel template you can clone per role
  • Resume parser configured for your candidate niche
  • Knockout-question logic for the top 3 must-haves per role
  • SMS + email confirmation templates
  • Round-robin or rule-based recruiter assignment
  • Auto-tag rules so candidates are pre-segmented when they hit your dashboard

All 12 features. One snapshot.
